Our training bases are spread into 3 training areas ; Tunggul Wulung Airport – Cilacap, Nusawiru – Pangandaran & H.A.S Hanandjoedin Airport – Tanjung Pandan. The training bases are located in the strategic location with the best environment for flight training and with the beautiful scenery. From the old fort (fort pendem) near of Nusa Kambangan Island – Cilacap, Central Java, to one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Belitung. Near Tanjung Pandan main city. You could take advantage of the city lifestyle and access to the beautiful countryside and coastal regions around the area, while doing your pilot training.
What are the requirements to join in Perkasa Flight School?
- Male / Female, age at least 17 years and maximum 35 years
- Min. height of 165 cm (5’5″) for men and women, and a leg length of at least 100 cm (3’4″)
- Wearing spectacles are acceptable
- Minimum high school education
- Passed Medical Examination and not color blind
- Adequate English proficiency, proven by TOEIC score of minimum 450
- Following matriculation class (for candidates who graduates from non-exact majority in senior high school)
- Passing written test (math & physics) – minimum score is 75
- Passed aptitude test
During training you will stay in our comfortable accommodation. Your accommodation will become your “home away from home”, therefore we will do our best to provide everything you need on daily basis. We provide twin sharing room in hotel format or twin sharing rooms equipped with kitchen and living room for the housing format. The accommodation is just few minute away drive from the training base.
It is required by the Indonesian DGCA to hold a valid Second Class Medical Certificate prior to pilot training and First Class Medical Certificate prior to CPL phase. The Medical Examination process can be conducted at Balai Kesehatan Penerbang (Aviation Health Institution) as the accredited Aviation Medical Examiner. Wearing glasses is possible, provided that you can meet the Medical Examination standard.
To join Perkasa Flight School you must hold a valid TOEIC Certificate with min. score of 400 and to gain the opportunity to work in the Airlines you must improve your TOEIC to reach minimum score of 700. Perkasa knows the importance of English capability for zero hour pilot in order to be able to be competitive when applying the First Officer job, therefore Perkasa facilitates English class during training to ensure all students have the chance to improve your English.
