Perkasa Flight School successfully held its first ever Pilot Camp Program, from 26 to 29 June 2026. The 4-day, 3-night immersive experience gave participants a firsthand look at what life as a student pilot is like at Perkasa Flight School through a series of aviation focused activities and hands-on experiences.

Day 1 - 26 June 2026
For its first ever Pilot Camp, Perkasa Flight School welcomed six participants from across Indonesia. Traveling from Palangkaraya, Bandung, Padang, and Bali, the participants gathered in Jakarta at Perkasa Flight School's headquarters in Gandaria 8 Office Tower to begin the first day of the program, marking the start of an exciting four-day journey into the world of aviation.

The first day of the Pilot Camp began with welcome remarks from Perkasa Flight School's CEO, Mr. Septo Adjie Sudiro, and Sales Director, Mr. Idham Ramdhian, followed by an introductory briefing from the Marketing Team, who provided participants with an overview of the program and what they could expect throughout the four-day experience.

Participants also had the opportunity to hear an inspiring presentation by Capt. Hanafi Herlim, who shared his remarkable journey and experiences from more than 42 years in the aviation industry. The session was further enriched by the presence of Capt. Freankie Karijodikoro, a highly accomplished aviation professional.
The session concluded with a special book-signing, where each participant received a signed copy of Capt. Hanafi Herlim's autobiography. They also received an exclusive Pilot Camp merchandise package, which included a water bottle, polo shirt, white T-shirt, yellow slayer, pin, cap, and notebook.

Day 2 - 27 June 2026
The excitement continued on the second day as participants visited Perkasa Flight School's training base at Tunggul Wulung Airport, Cilacap. The day began with a school tour, where participants explored the campus and its training facilities, gaining a closer look at the environment where Perkasa's student pilots undergo their flight training. Throughout the visit, they were accompanied by Perkasa Flight School's flight instructors and student pilots, who served as their buddies and shared their firsthand experiences of pilot training.
The participants then attended the Captain's Classroom, led by Capt. Ariza, one of Perkasa Flight School's flight instructors. During the session, they received valuable insights into the aviation industry, flight training, and the journey to becoming a professional pilot. The learning experience continued with a hands-on session in Perkasa's DGCA-FAA Certified Flight Simulator, allowing participants to experience the fundamentals of flying in a realistic training environment.
The day concluded with a group dinner and an engaging discussion involving the participants, flight instructors, and student pilots.

Day 3 - 28 June 2026
The third day of the Pilot Camp was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated highlights of the program, as participants had the opportunity to experience flying in Perkasa Flight School’s training aircraft. The unforgettable Joy Flight Experience gave them a firsthand taste of what it's like to train and fly as a student pilot. Following the flight experience, participants enjoyed a hangar and aircraft tour, where they learned more about the school's training fleet, aircraft maintenance, and daily flight operations.
As their final day in Cilacap came to an end, the group departed for Yogyakarta to continue the program with a recreational journey to one of Indonesia's most iconic destinations.
