PERKASA FLIGHT SCHOOL & JORDAN AIRLINE TRAINING & SIMULATION (JATS) STRENGTHEN AVIATION COOPERATION THROUGH PILOT TRAINING PARTNERSHIP
Amman, Jordan — 10 November 2025
A significant milestone was reached as Jordan Airline Training & Simulation (JATS) and PT. Mitra Aviasi Perkasa (MAP) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the JATS Training Center in Amman.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of H.E. Mr. Ade Padmo Sarwono, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Jordan and Palestine, who witnessed the signing between Captain Zaid Kalbouneh, General Manager of JATS, and Mr. Septo Adjie Sudiro, CEO of MAP.
This strategic partnership represents a major step forward in strengthening aviation cooperation between Jordan and Indonesia—advancing pilot training excellence and opening new global opportunities within the aviation sector. Together, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to elevating training standards and fostering deeper international collaboration.
The partnership also serves as an important milestone in enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in pilot training and aviation market development. Through this agreement, both parties commit to developing an integrated pilot training pathway, ranging from ab initio training to airline placement, while also expanding collaboration in curriculum alignment, quality assurance, and student recruitment.
Under the implementation framework, JATS will recommend prospective cadets from its partner airlines and regional network to undergo pilot training at Perkasa Flight School in Indonesia. In return, Perkasa Flight School will support Indonesian graduates and pilots in pursuing advanced or recurrent training programs at JATS facilities in Jordan.
This MoU reaffirms the shared dedication of both institutions to strengthening aviation collaboration—especially in enhancing human resource capabilities and expanding the pilot training market across the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
